What is Gap Insurance?
Gap Insurance is literally amazing. Let's face it, none of us ever plan to be in a car accident and perish the though it ever happened to you. But let's say it does and you're ok, but your car is an insurance write off.
If this happens to your car one or two years after you buy it, you're going to be left with the bill to pay it off. For instance, if you bought your car one year ago for £20,000 and your insurance company has agreed to pay you out the sum of £10,000 - that's a shortfall of £10,000 which you have to find to replace the car that was just written off.
