LHD, RHD, Prestige and Sports Car Payment
Payment for vehicles is required to be paid for in full before the car is released by the Manufacturer or Dealer. In most cases, payment can be made directly to the dealer or supplier. All transactions are to be made by CHAPS Transfer, (Bank to Bank transfer from your account to the suppliers account) Letter of Credit, (Obtainable from your bank, which will not leave your account until the goods are in your possession, however, on issuing a Letter of Credit, the funds in your bank account to the value of the letter of credit is frozen). If you intend to pay with a letter of credit, please make us aware at the time of enquiry as we may be charged a fee for accepting an LOC.
Please be aware that before the car leaves the country of origin, it will have to be paid for in full. Please allow time for the delivery to the UK and for the registration to take place.
International Currency
Because we deal with many different countries around the World, we also use many different currencies. Dependant on which is your home currency, there is a possibility that you are able to achieve a higher saving by being smart about where and when you secure your currency.
American Cars
TIn order to pay for an American Import, we require that you deposit funds into our US account in US Dollars. You should be aware of the exchange rate on the day of transfer. Your bank or financial institution will be able to help as we will never guarantee a price against currency fluctuation.
Either way, we require full payment in advance of shipping and delivery to the UK. In many cases, we shall ask for a deposit, however, payment of a deposit does not mean the car will be secured and removed from sale. To ensure the car is taken off sale, it must be paid for in full. Deposits that have been taken on a car will automatically be returned or put towards the payment on a similar car of your choosing.
Prices do not include shipping. This is virtually impossible to calculate as we don't know in advance where in the World our customers are until we receive a request.
Supercar Payment
In some cases, you are able to visit the factory to collect a Prestige or Sports car, or similar.. The transaction for Supercars is completed slightly differently.
When you have decided to purchase a supercar, Pagani, Koenigsegg, Bugatti, Ferrari Enzo etc, due to the nature of the car, we shall ask for a 10% deposit to be put in an Escrow account. Once this has been done, we will arrange a viewing. When you are happy to go ahead with the purchase, we expect an electronic bank transfer to be completed. When the funds have cleared, the car is yours. Of course, we are on hand to arrange shipping on request.
